新作者扶植计划第二期从前，有一条不知名的小溪，在小溪里有一块小石头。因为他闪亮亮的，所以其他石头喊他闪闪。闪闪喜欢这个名字，他也很享受其他石头的陪伴，虽然他们一点都不闪，但这没有关系，不是吗？

Once upon a time, there was an unknown steam. In the steam there was a little stone, since it was sparkling, so the other stones called it Bling. Bling liked this name and it truly enjoyed the other stones’ company, although they were not sparkling at all, but it didn’t matter, did it?

有一天，闪闪在享受日光浴时，不知从哪里来了一个人。他踏进小溪，用两根手指捏起闪闪，把他凑到自己的眼睛跟前。圣母啊!他叫道，一颗钻石！他小心翼翼地把闪闪放进口袋里，然后开心地走了。

It happened one day, when Bling was taking a sun bath, a man from nowhere showed up. He stepped into the steam, pinched Bling with two fingers, and took it close to his eyes. Holy Mother! he cried out A diamond! He put it carefully in his pocket and went off happily.

Then Bling was sold to a jewelry shop. Lying on a dark blue velvet pad, focused by the spotlight, Bling found itself more sparkling than ever. I am a diamond, not a common stone, Bling found itself walking on air.

但没过多久，他就掉回地面了。因为他发现他几乎是店里最便宜的珠宝。这是因为人们偏爱彩色宝石，一颗红宝石告诉他，而你没有颜色。

But soon after, he fell back to earth. Because he found he was almost the cheapest jewelry in the shop. Because people prefer colored jewelry more, A ruby told it. And you have no color.

闪闪从未如此黯淡无光，也不知道过了多长时间，直到有一天，他被卖去了一家工厂。是什么让你如此沮丧，我的孩子？一个老砂轮问他。我找不到我的价值。闪闪轻声答道。你是一颗钻石，地球上最硬的东西，这是你的价值。老沙轮说。但我的价格。。。非常的便宜。。。闪闪说。哦，忘掉价格吧，那只是个标签，是别人强加给你的东西老砂轮说，真正的价值从来不由别人定义，它就在这里，在你身上。

Bling had never been so dim, he didn’t know how much time had passed, until one day, he was sold to a factory. What made you so upset, my child? An old grinding wheel asked him. I can’t find my value. Bling answered in a low voice. You are a diamond, the hardest thing in the world, that’s your value. The old wheel said. But my price…is very cheap… Bling said. Oh, forget the price , it’s just a label, something the others impose on you. Said the old wheel, the true value can never be defined by the others, it is right here, inside of you.

从那以后，闪闪就在工厂工作，他帮助老砂轮切割玻璃以及其他坚硬的石头。他从未感觉如此快乐。

From then on, Bling worked in the factory , he helped the old grinding wheel to cut glass and other tough stone. He had never felt so good.

我是一颗钻石，世界上最坚硬的东西，闪闪说不管人们如何给我定价，这点永远不变。

I am a diamond, the hardest thing in the world, said Bling, no matter how they price me, this will never change.
